I'm not the most technical guy when it comes to writing lens reviews, while I care about the amount of chromatic aberration a particular lens displays I have never once heard someone say that chromatic aberration was a purchasing decision. It's never happened. Instead, it's usually price. There are two spectrums with price too; low price bargains and high priced exclusivity. This lens is neither of those and that's where we all win.

The Canon 85mm f/1.2L is one of the best, most outstanding lenses I have used. Would I recommend buying one, absolutely. Do I own one? Absolutely not, nor will I. Read why inside!
