A number of years ago I saw a really good article on The Denver Egotist about creative professionals who were writing letters to themselves when they first got started. It inspired me to write a letter to myself at the beginning of my photography journey, when I got my first film camera. I didn't know that getting a film camera was going to change my life, I just wanted to take better pictures. It's good to reflect on humble beginnnings, remember where you've been, and be thankful for where you are now.
