West Side of the Tetons
One of my favorite sunsets I've ever witnessed happened with Rick Louie and I were visiting the west side of the majestic Tetons where I have some family, then right after dinner the sky exploded and we scrambled to find a suitable place to shoot photos.

Week 2 of my newest series, Versus, and we have a pair of heavy hitters going at it this week. Both photos are from the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, both were taken at sunrise, and both feature silky water below sun-lit peaks.
Canon 16-35mm f/4L IS Review
My review of the Canon 16-35mm f/4L IS lens and why I reviewed it at the perfect time. This wide-angle lens a fantastic lens but how does it fare against the cheaper 17-40mm f/4L lens?
Photographing the Icons
There is a debate within the landscape photography community about whether or not aspiring and professional photographers should travel to "the icons" because of the large crowds all lining up to get "that shot". This is my thoughts about the subject and why this whole debate is rather silly.

How To Take Photos of the Milky Way
This is one of my favorite instructions to give photographers, how to take photos of the Milky Way. While it's not the hardest lesson I've learned in photography, it's not the easiest either and you'll need a certain amount of gear to make the most of your time. But the pay-off is highly rewarding, because being able to capture what isn't viewable by the naked eye is truly something to behold. Learn how to take photos of the Milky Way here, and begin practicing!
My Favorite Photos from 2014
These are my favorite photos that I took in 2014, which features different photos than that I would normally seek out. I think that my growth as a photographer has been greater during years like this than the "all time" conditions we photographers often chase after.
My Review of VSCO Film 01
My review of VSCO Film 01 for Lightroom and whether or not its presets are a good buy considering its steep price.
