One of my favorite panoramas, I love the Arizona desert and the desert southwest in general. The amazing warm desert light at sunset a big reason why I’m so enamored with the region. Horseshoe Bend in Arizona is such a well-known photography spot that I almost thought about skipping it on my first photo trip to northern Arizona. I would have missed the warm glow of the sandstone cliffs towering above the Colorado River below, so I’m thankful that I got to see this incredible area in person.
