What was supposed to be a quick trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park turned out not to be, but with over 15” of fresh snow we made the most of the time spent in the mountains. One of the things I have learned doing photography, especially landscape photography, is that you need to be flexible and not hold on to any one thing too tightly. We still got our cameras out and even took pictures of some of the other inhabitants of the park.
