Versus: Week Five

We're back with America's Fastest Growing Online Photography Blog Game, Versus! This week, I'm doing something quite a bit different. Rather than having you choose between two edited and processed print-worthy photos, I'm going to have you choose what straight from the camera photo you like better, then next week I'll post a blog about my editing process for that particular photo. So vote early, and share with your friends! Begin!

#1

Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, UT is one of my favorite grand vistas I have ever photographed. The Colorado River winding through the steep canyons, towering cliffs, and golden light. It's hard to beat that combination.

#2

We drove through a snowstorm and slept in an uncomfortable (but warm) church basement to get this photo of Ohio Pass in the pre-dawn light the next morning. While not the warmest of morning, it's certainly hard to beat this color palette wouldn't you say?

So which one do you like better? Whichever photo gets the most votes by next week, I'll edit that photo and write a blog about my editing process.
