PhotoShelter is a popular photography-specific content management system that claims to have nearly 80,000 people using their service and for almost 9 years, I was one of those people. But with time, there were less updates to their service, egregious pricing, and a lack of communication and direction.

For years, I’ve been a marketing consultant helping brands sell on online marketplaces like Amazon so I’m going to take the jump in myself. I’m going to be documenting each step and writing about my successes and my failures too. I’m sure it’ll be a learning experience for me to sell my own product, I don’t just get to say “if you double your advertising budget…” when it’s my own money.
