Denver's sunflower fields are giant, sprawling fields with countless sunflowers all looking east for the rising sun. As sunset, this surreal scene unfolds every August along the plains just east of Denver, Colo. You'll notice that the sunflowers are pointed away from the sun, this is because the heads of these specific sunflowers do not follow the sun.
