One of my favorite black and white images I’ve ever made, when I was shooting this photo I knew immediately that I would be converting it to black and white. The white walls of the abandoned house, the approaching winter storm, and the deep blue sky above made for a great scene. One aspect that I love to this location is how desolate and isolated it is, the nearest town is 15 miles away! What’s more is that I’ve driven by this house quite a few times without pulling over but always knowing that it would make a great photo. The elements just came together on this day.
