One of my favorite places in the world is the Upper Rio Grande River valley, my family has a cabin in the area where we’d go as a family to go fish and get away. Grand views of the surrounding San Juan mountains and the gentle sound of the Rio Grande River greet visitors, there’s an old burger stand called Freemon’s General Store where everyone gathers to tell tall tales and eat delicious food. It’s unlike anywhere else in Colorado and as sunset, the whole valley basks in the light of the disappearing sun. Time hasn’t touched this place and you won’t find me complaining.
